Windows Fibre Channel Client

Hardware

Installing the Avid Unity MediaNetwork Windows Fibre Channel client on

your Avid workstation requires adding hardware and software to create a

functioning Windows client.

When your Avid workstation becomes a Windows client, it connects to a Fibre

Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL). This loop requires that you add a Fibre

Channel adapter board to the Windows client you are connecting to the

MediaNetwork workgroup.
